“What struck me most is her ability to truly understand her clients’ taste and design accordingly.”
“It’s rare to find a small, family-run business that can operate at this level on a large estate project, but they absolutely delivered.”
“From conception to final product, they truly grasp what a client is going for and not only bring it to life, but elevate it in ways unimaginable.”
A Reston project may begin with a renovation, a more intentional furniture plan or a desire to create better connections between open living spaces. Our team thoughtfully guides the details that shape a home, from materials and lighting to storage, furnishings and finishes, creating spaces that feel cohesive, comfortable and distinctly personal.
Our process begins with a conversation about your home, goals, schedule and investment. From there, we develop the concept, refine layouts and selections, document the approved design and coordinate purchasing and installation as appropriate. Clear presentations and organized decision points keep the project moving while leaving room for the creative discoveries that make it uniquely yours.
J&L Interiors has served Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and surrounding communities since 1997. Our Leesburg studio and cabinetry showroom gives clients a hands-on place to compare materials and see details come together.
We specialize in luxury residential interiors throughout Northern Virginia, from full-home furnishings and custom home builds to major renovations and thoughtfully designed individual spaces. Every project is tailored to the people who live there, creating interiors that feel timeless, personal, and beautifully resolved.
Yes. Collaboration is an essential part of our process. We work closely with architects, builders, craftsmen, and trusted trades from the earliest planning stages through installation, ensuring every detail is aligned and every decision contributes to a cohesive, well-executed home.
Absolutely. We curate and design every layer of a home, including custom furniture, cabinetry, window treatments, lighting, rugs, artwork, and accessories. These carefully considered details are what transform a beautiful space into one that feels complete and uniquely yours.
The earlier, the better. Bringing an interior designer into the project during the planning phase allows us to influence layouts, architectural details, lighting, cabinetry, and material selections before construction begins. Early collaboration leads to a more cohesive home and helps avoid costly changes later in the process.
Our process is thoughtful, collaborative, and highly personal. We take the time to understand how you live, what inspires you, and how you want your home to feel. From the initial concept through the final installation, we guide every decision with care, creating interiors that are elegant, comfortable, and designed to stand the test of time.
When you’re ready for a home that reflects the way you truly live,
we’re ready to design it with you.
